Going to London for the Royal Wedding?

Truth be told, if any other celebrity in London was to have their wedding on the 29th of April, I'm pretty sure the attendance would only be the family of the groom and Bride!!Tourism in London is expected to hit the roof this spring with people from all over the world coming to witness Prince William and Kate Middleton say "I DO"

Westminster location...
UK's travel authority have advised to book your travel in advance however, accommodation else,Westminster are already fully booked, and though vacancies are still available some are planning to increase prices by as much as 200 percent. Deals still exist, like at the Lancaster Gate and Shaftesbury Premier hotels in Hyde Park, which offer discounts for longer stays.

Flights to London are also expected to increase the fares and of course, late booking /  buying may mean not getting a chance to attend the wedding!!

Things to do while in London:

  • Tour - London has great historic stories and museums!
  • Dine and Drink - Even though the English are not great drinkers, they do like cocktails and great wine! The Lounge Bar at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel is perfect for pre-dinner drinks.
  • Shop - I doubt i need to explain this!
