Kenya is blessed with many forests but one that absolutely stands out for me is the Kakamega equitorial rainforest.It is termed as a living museum with unique and rare species. This forest has an overwhelming birdlife which i would say is the "high" point of the forest with all species of monkeys being present and beautiful Chameleons are often seen in the undergrowth.
At night the air is usually filled with bats and other nights birds and giant forest squirrels. Kakamega forest is a place i would recommend to nature lover's because it depicts the beauty of the garden of Eden,basically outstanding!
Kakamega is best experienced when you go for nature treks that way you can enjoy the nature!
