If you are as in love with fashion as I am, then Nancie Mwai is no stranger to you! She is what I would love to call "The Fashion goddess!" As a newbie in blogging, Nancie's blog - The Fashion Notebook was one of my inspirations to actually go fourth and pursue blogging. Today, whenever I have a fashion query or want to know what's in and what's not in the fashion world, The Fashion Notebook is with no doubt my first stop, always! It is with this regards that I was so excited when Nancie gave me the opportunity to interview her and understand her travel world as much as I understood her fashion world!
Which
is the best destination you have ever visited? Why?
I will have to say Lake Bogoria, it was
just after I cleared high school and I just loved the hot springs and the road
trip was good too.
Which
is your favorite restaurant in Kenya? Why?
Fogo Gaucho, it’s a Brazilian Steak
House, love their salad and meat platters.
Which
/ where is you dream holiday destination? Why?
St. Barts…it’s in the Caribbean and they
have beautiful beaches!
What
do you like most about traveling? What do you dislike most about
traveling?
Meeting new people and spending time
with families and friends. I don’t like the travelling bit of it! Too tiring!
What
/ which gadgets do you NEVER miss to pack in your travel bag?
My phones, my laptop and a camera!
What
is more of a romantic getaway for you, Beach or Safari?
Beach! My boyfriend and I love coastal
towns.
What
in your closet do you NEVER miss to carry when you are traveling?
What
fashion/beauty tip do you have for "Her World" as she trots around
the lovely Kenya and globe?
Carry some sunscreen and make sure you
use it!!!
Now thats a tip that I intend to use...sunscreen!
Sunscreen is so important at the beaches. I couldn't live without it here in South Florida. I love coastal towns, too. I live in one.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Miranda, sunscreen is very important! I envy your living in a coastal place! :)
ReplyDeleteMurugi, I've never been to Kenya, but, hopefully, one day I will see this gorgeous country.
ReplyDeleteDepending on when and where I travel, I always take a lot of clothes and shoes (can't help it), camera, my Kindle or/and paper books, makeup and other favorite cosmetics. A sunscreen is always a must for me, when I'm exposed to the sun.
I absolutely adore coast and hope one day to live somewhere where I can see an ocean or a sea from my windows.
Thank you for introducing Nancy and her blog. I am a fashion nut (haha) so her blog will be a real treat for me!
Thanks Angela for your comments, and yes Nancie's blog is amazing!Hope you enjoy it as much as i do. :)
DeleteNice to meet you, Angela and Nancie! I live in a coastal town (on an island) but it's nowhere near any tropical beach. Jealous!
ReplyDeleteHaha, the beach is awesome. Thanks for your comments. :)
DeleteFun to meet Nancie :) "Fashion Goddess" now that is a cool title.
ReplyDeleteYeah she really does help me make sense of the fashion world...thanks for stopping by. :)
DeleteNice to meet you! I live in a desert so...yea...no water to enjoy. Returning the follow :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tasha for the follow and a desert? Geez..i really wonder how that works out, must be interesting....
DeleteCool! I agree about the sun screen but would also suggest nail manicure stuff! So easy to chip a nail...
ReplyDeleteI hate chipped nail polish..even if the colour is clear! I agree, nail manicure suff is very important. I always have a nail file in my hand bag. :)
Delete'Carry some sunscreen and make sure you use it!'
ReplyDeleteYes I forgot mine last year and suffered as a result. Great answers. I take loads of essentials in my first aid bag, too.
I visit the coast often and sometimes i forget to carry sunscreen then when i get back home i look like roasted chicken rather burnt chicken..so you are right using it is a must! First aid bag is very very important.
