2. Which is the best destination you have ever visited? South America, Uruguay to be specific.  I would love to go back there and never return again :-)  I love the friendly nature of the people there which makes you feel at home even when you don't know a thing of what they are saying to you in Spanish. Meet Nancie Mwai  and her love for coastal towns!

If you are as in love with fashion as I am, then Nancie Mwai is no stranger to you! She is what I would love to call "The Fashion goddess!" As a newbie in blogging, Nancie's blog - The Fashion Notebook was one of my inspirations to actually go fourth and persue blogging. Today, whenever I have a fashion query or want to know what's in and what's not in the fashion world, The Fashion Notebook is with no doubt my first stop, always! It is with this regards that I was so excited when Nancie gave me the opprtunity to interview her and understand her travel world as much as I understood her fashion world!

MALINDI & NAOMI CAMPBELL

If you are a Kenyan then you must know by now, runway supermodel Naomi Campbell loves Kenya's beach town Malindi. She loves it so much that every once in a while she is always stopping by to take a breather at the history packed Malindi town. Naomi came under attack awhile back when she and her Italian beau proposed to buy what is now a site of the ruined Jambo Beach Hotel, in a £11 million project to build a resort which will be targeted at the super-rich, having been described as a resort for billionaires. The site, however, also happens to be the nesting site of 3 species of sea turtle: the green, hawksbill, and Olive Ridley turtles.

Conservationists claimed that the beach next to the proposed development site is used as a nesting spot by turtles, a claim Campbell and Briatore reject, and that development will disturb the turtles’ nesting habits. The turtles are already under siege in Kenya and its waters. The saga has gone quiet at the moment but we can only keep our ears and years open, waiting to see just what happens........

For those of you who do not know about Malindi, well lets just say it is time you learnt more about Malindi, otherwise known as, Kenya's party town! Malindi town is one of the favourite spots on Kenya's coast with attractions split between luxurious hotels and buildings that date back to the 12th century. Gifted with Africa's number one marine park and a vibrant and active night life. The city is exceptionally popular among Italian tourists and is served with a domestic airport and a highway between Mombasa and Lamu. The area shows classic examples of Swahili architecture and is home to the Malindi Airport and Broglio Space Centre and couple of world celebrities and business millionaires own private beach villas there!
